Why you cannot miss Triple depth 2015 - FreeDive International

As if the outstanding and unbeatable conditions for freediving of the Red Sea and in particular of the Blue Hole were not enough to justify a trip to Dahab for competing at the Triple Depth, the amount of prizes you can win this year (without the need to be a world record holder) should be an extra incentive!

Here a list of PROS and CONS of coming to Dahab to compete in Triple Depth 2015 (1-7 October).
Let’s start with the CONS so we get them out of the way:

CONS:
1-Ok, the food is not that great, but if you lose a couple of kilos you need less weight on your belt. So this should actually go in the PROS
2- No, IS hasn’t invaded Egypt yet, so you are not going to be beheaded/raped/kidnapped
3-Flights can become expensive whenever Europe freaks out and decides to cancel charters. Book your trip now with Egyptair or Turkish airlines, or Pegasus. It takes a little longer to get here, but if you fly Turkish and have a 8+ hours stopover they will put you in a 4 star hotel so you get to spend a day sightseeing Istanbul free of charge.
4-Maybe you remember Egypt announcing the introduction of new VISA rules , but then they didn’t follow up (as usual), so you still get a visa on arrival for 25 usd, or if you don’t stay longer than 2 weeks you get a entry stamp free of charge. So this is also not a cons!

PROS:
1-The generally not too exciting food will make you eat only when you really need it so you will lose your love handles and you need less weight on your weight belt.
2-You get a free entry stamp on arrival.
3-You dont need to be a superhero freediver anymore to win Triple Depth, as the Blue Hole is too shallow for the big guns who will all be busy trying breaking world records in Cyprus this year.
4-25 meters visibility on a bad day.
5-No surface or deep currents, EVER!
6-26/27 degrees water temperature.
7-No thermoclines, EVER!
8-No big scary marine life swimming around and chopping you into pieces.
9-The Blue Hole is completely protected from the outside.
10- No swells and waves.
11-The comp fee and the costs of accommodation and living are among the cheapest in the world for freediving competitions.
12-You can win a pair of V2HS ALCHEMY carbon fins and a stylish ALCHEMY silicon weightbelt.
13-You can win a POLOSUB custom made wetsuit.
14-You can win a Smart Apnea MARES freediving computer, and a MARES mask + snorkel set.
15-You can win a HEAD Triathlon wetsuit.
16-You can win a ROLLEI Actioncam S6.
