Hi AllI remember fro, my first level freediving course , my instructor told me that recovery breathing is to take a fast deep breath and hold it for 1 second , while you hold it, you breath it strongly out against closed mouth ( making the breath stuck ) and he explain that this technique accelerate the blood oxygenationafter that anther one told my , that the recovery breathing is only to take a fast breath and hold it for 1 sec , without to exhale it against a closed mouthso , how precisely the recovery breathing is done ?thanks a lot

Hi Sami, More or less the way you explained it is the right way, but when we talk about recovery breathing we mean the whole process, not only the inhale phase. So quick breath in, and passive exhale out and repeat 4-5 times. Holding it in for a moment with the mouth closed just increase its efficacy.
